To many, it may seem that when the sounds of puppies barking aren't heard in the kennel, the breeder is simply on vacation, enjoying the peace. However, the reality is quite different. That quiet time without puppies is actually the most intense period of planning, analysis, and "homework."
The Genetic Puzzle: Searching for "The One"
Every future litter begins not by chance, but from long and meticulous work searching for a partner that complements my girls. This isn't just a search for a "handsome dog." It involves hours of studying pedigree trees, analyzing ancestors, and the legacy they have left within the breed.
I delve into every letter of the health screenings, analyzing results for joints, eyes, and genetic tests. My goal is not just a "beautiful" dog, but first and foremost – a healthy one.
Character: The Heart of the Breed

Alongside health, temperament is equally important to me. I look for a pair that matches the true character of the breed, without any undesirable deviations. I don't take the easy way out – I don't choose a sire based on whether he lives nearby or if the owner is an acquaintance.
Often, the search for the most suitable candidate takes six months or even longer. I go through dozens of options until I find "the one" I truly believe in. They say it is difficult to find "two-in-one" – both healthy and beautiful – but I never stop searching until the candidate meets all my expectations.
Nature and the Breeder's Vision
Of course, a breeder is not God. Although I paint an ideal picture of the future litter in my mind, nature always has the final say. I cannot know exactly how the genetic diversity will fall into place, but I can do everything within my power to ensure the best possible result.
Every litter in my kennel is analyzed down to the smallest detail. When you read the phrase "long – planned and highly anticipated," know that behind it lies months of work, lists, doubts, and ultimately, a steadfast faith in the future little ones.
Why Don't I Repeat the Same Pairings?

Many people ask: if you found a great sire, why look for a new one for the next litter? My answer is simple: the breeder's path is one of constant forward motion. I want to discover new "golden means," to put together new puzzles that no one has assembled before. It is a form of creative passion – trying to create a new miracle rather than just using what is already proven and convenient.
There has been only one exception in my kennel – a litter with a sire named Rufus. The result was so captivating, and the grown puppies brought such joy with their maturity, that I couldn't resist the urge to see it once more. The encore was a great success, but even after such a victory, I continue to move forward.
The Breeder's Mission: To Explore
To seek out new opportunities rather than settling into a comfort zone is my true mission. I choose the right decisions over convenience. Because only in this way can I improve and gift the world with puppies that make me – and their future owners – truly proud.
